Hai-Mo Hu is a Creative Writing grad whose fiction works specialize in realist, romance, magical realism, and dystopian. She has an AA in General Theatre from the College of the Canyons and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Full Sail University. Her flash fiction “Private Funeral” was published in CafeLit Magazine, "Force to Chocolate" in The Raven Review, and "Ten Tea Bags" in CC&D Magazine. She also has a film review in CHA magazine's First Impression section. She has worked with a photography studio, a theatre company that focuses on Drama Therapy, and a YouTube channel in Taiwan. She has applied her skill of social media writing in her previous positions and is now learning and advancing her writing skills. Her skills include language, fiction writing, social media content writing, and editing. Growing up on the coast has greatly influenced her stories and has allowed her to bring elements of the ocean into her writing. She also has been fantasizing about becoming a mermaid ever since she was a little girl.
